The Armed Services YMCA 8K Mud Run is limited to 2500 participants and frequently sells out. The Mini Mud is limited to 400 participants and sells out quickly.
*Adult registration will be $60 at the expo on August 8th if the event has not sold out. To register at the Expo, you must have a military ID and base access. 8K Mud Run Divisions
Awards given to the top individual males and females in their groups:
Please note: This race is open to ages 13+. Children 12 & under must register for the mini Mud.
Teams must consist of 5 runners and they must cross the finish line together to be eligible for timing and awards. Team categories include: All Male, All Female, Co-Ed, (At Least two female members) Public Safety (5 athletes, same department) Active Duty, (5 athletes, same unit) and Corporate (5 athletes, same company). Top 3 teams in each category receive awards.

We've partnered up with First Giving this year and have a goal to reach $100,000 to provide additional no cost services to junior enlisted Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen. The team or individual to raise the most funds for the ASYMCA wins a team party for (5) at a local sports bar. Due to insurance regulations and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek & Fort Story base security restrictions, we cannot allow the transfer of a registration. All participants will be required to sign an adherence to base policy form during registration. Please read it carefully before signing. This race is open to civilians. Those without DOD stickers and military ID cards will receive a base pass and will need to provide a photo ID to access the base. Because the race takes place on a military installation, additional information is required of all participants during the registration process.
Refunds are not given on registration fees. All proceeds from the Mud Run benefit the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads, a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization. Proceeds go directly to support junior enlisted men and women stationed in the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, & Coast Guard in this region. A portion of your registration fee is considered a tax deductible donation to the organization. A tax deductible donation receipt will be provided at pick up.
